We want to thank you for your continued support of The Scottsville Kentucky Train Depot during this very difficult time for families, our country and our world. Like all around us we are affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope and trust that you are staying healthy.
News for May 2020:
- A $200,000 transportation grant to rebuild the two-story passenger section was announced last summer, but to date we still have not received the contracts from the state. Those have to be signed before the design and bid phases can begin.
- Work on the locomotive has begun and is moving slowly. Not much of that is visible yet.
- Fundraising is ongoing but the Coronavirus has knocked out a couple of planned events. Stay tuned.
- A caboose is available but additional fundraising is needed to move it to Scottsville.
